Department of Mathematics

Today, mathematics plays an important role in the understanding and development of many fields of science. Without the use of mathematical models and approaches, it is almost impossible to produce solutions to problems in many disciplines, especially in engineering sciences. In the near future, the theoretical and practical foundations of fields such as computational sciences, artificial intelligence, cryptography, systems analysis, and data science will continue to be nourished by mathematics.

Students who graduate from the Department of Mathematics at TED University will have the potential to contribute to academic and theoretical studies in light of the theoretical knowledge they acquire during their undergraduate education. In addition, through the practical skills they gain, they will develop knowledge in various disciplines where mathematics is applied.

The goal of the Department of Mathematics at TED University is to implement a program that is innovative, compatible with the modern world, and collaborative with other disciplines, without compromising quality standards in mathematics education.

Among the prominent features of our department are the application of contemporary learning and teaching methods and techniques, a student-centered approach, course contents determined in accordance with international quality standards, the availability of extracurricular programs that broaden graduates’ perspectives, and the use of methods that encourage students’ active participation in academic activities.
