Program Outcomes

A student graduating from the TED University Department of Mathematics:

  1. Has the necessary mathematical field knowledge at a basic level.
  2. Has the ability to think mathematically and reason causally.
  3. Has the ability to follow scientific and popular events and publications related to mathematics.
  4. Has the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the field of mathematics.
  5. Is able to follow developments in mathematics in at least one foreign language.
  6. Acquires computer software skills at the level required by mathematics.
  7. Can understand and follow the relationship between mathematics and other fields.
  8. Has the ability to bring mathematical approaches to individual and social problems.
  9. Adopts the principle of lifelong learning and works with the goal of continuously improving professional competence.
  10. Has the ability to express their proposals in written and oral form when solving problems related to their field.
  11. Acts in accordance with ethical values.
  12. Is sensitive to social and environmental problems with a sense of social responsibility.
  13. Has the ability to collaborate with colleagues and relevant individuals in research and studies related to their field.
